Welcome to Mathodical! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the rules of the road for using our website and apps. By using Mathodical, you agree to these rules. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Data Ownership & License

You Own Your Data: Mathodical LLC does not claim ownership of the student data you upload. The School, District, or Parent retains full ownership rights.

License to Us: By using the service, you give Mathodical a limited permission (license) to use this data solely to:

Provide the math training service.
Create reports for you.
Improve our educational products (using only anonymous, de-identified data).

2. Your Responsibilities (Consents)

CRITICAL SECTION: As the Account Creator (School Administrator, Teacher, or Parent), you are responsible for having the legal right to provide student data to us.

By creating accounts for students, you warrant (promise) that:

Schools: You have the authority to provide "School Official Consent" under FERPA and COPPA to allow us to collect data from students under 13.
Parents: You are the legal guardian of the child and consent to their use of the platform.

3. Acceptable Use

Mathodical is for learning. You agree NOT to:

Use the service for anything other than math education.
Try to hack, reverse engineer, or copy our code.
Upload viruses or harmful software.
Share your password with unauthorized people.

4. Indemnification & Liability

This section explains the legal limits of our relationship.

Indemnification: You agree to defend and hold Mathodical LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from your failure to obtain necessary parental or school consents before submitting student data to us.

Limitation of Liability: Mathodical is provided "AS IS." While we strive for perfection, we do not guarantee the site will never have a glitch. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mathodical LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

5. Termination & Data Deletion

We may suspend your account if you break these rules. You may cancel your account at any time.

Deletion Protocol: Upon termination of service, we will permanently delete all student PII from our active servers and backups within 90 days.
